#1-
I discovered One over Zero this month through Kevin
Pease's spiffy links page, and boy am I glad that I did. This comic,
which started a month before i first put mine on the web, has gone a similar
route to that of FRAMED!, daring to have no fourth wall as part of its
premise; in fact, I'd almost call it the love child of Triangle and Robert
and FRAMED!, only with better writing than me!
I had NO CHOICE but
to skyrocket this pick to the top of the list... it's just that good. |

- This seems to be a month of list
upheavals as FANS! races back to my top favorites, after slipping for a
month...
To be honest, I'm
not sure why it slipped off, but I wasn't as enraptured in January -- some
art switches, some story muddling...
In February, tho,
WOW! The Hyperman storyline really grabbed me, and just won't let go, making
me check for the update as soon as midnight rolls around! Poof! I'm
hooked again! |

- What/s A Life also
jumps up here from nowhere following its crazy daring Yaoi and Yuri twins
storyline! I found myself not sure who to cheer for, Donny, Kaylen, Lilith,
Adam... But there were certainly some unexpected twists going on here,
and even a bit of LICKING! All of this resulted in me wanting each day
to pass faster, so I could see what was going to happen next! Good stuff,
Caster!

- Wow. Amber "Glych"
Greenlee's No Stereotypes has just been wowing me more and more. Wow. Her
Star Wars storyline wrapped up quite freakily, with some real cliffhanger-like
moments that had me almost screaming at the monitor demanding more! Wow.
And
now she's messing around in the FRAMED! universe? Eep! What new and exciting
crazy hijinx will ensue???
(Have
I mentioned "wow" yet?) |

- Silly Cone V dared to be different
this month, and how! Great innovative paneling ideas, and controversial
subject matter, all handled expertly with hearty ladles of laughter --
Brandon "scrubbo" Sonderegger certainly knows how to make things edjukationnal
AND funny! And did I mention the dream kiss? *eep!*

#6
- I admit it. When Aaron Farber first
changed up his format by getting rid of the ever loveable Pink and Blue,
it was hard for me to adjust. However, Pentasmal's new format is finally
growing on me. More than that, it's taking over my soul and demanding pie.
Magical floating
pie.
Umm, I think that's
supposed to mean that I LOVE it all over again. 'Cause I do. A lot.

- He's still got MEGA MAN. And he blew
up my Allison this month.
Really... does anything
else need to be said?

#8
- This comic had me hooked
from the very beginning -- the very beginning being, of course, when I
had first heard about it, since ROCR has been around for a long, long,
time... A well-written and well-drawn ongoing fantasy tale, it never ceases
to entertain, and even makes me laugh on more than one occasion... The
currently storyline is particularly interesting, featuring an 'earth-pig'
named SCARABUS (sound familiar, Dave Sim fans?)...
Oh,
and it's even got one thing that FRAMED doesn't...
NIPPLES.
(*gasp!*)

- And still Paul Roustan refuses to
leave my top list; this month, he beguiled me with spiffy panel experimentation,
a funky superbowl experience, references to 80's movies, not to mention
saving me from my own strip!
And throughout all
that, his charm and his wonderful art continues to shine through like a
shiny, shiny thing. And I like shiny things. |

(tie) - This strip is another one that
has often been in my honourable mentions list, and moves up to the top
ten because of its own plays at innovation, both in form and content! David
Bowie, Monet paintings, and a through the looking glass-like wonky experience
currently make ZWOL a strong number ten in my books!

#10
(tie) - Todd MacFarlane's Balls.
If that don't
explain it, then nothing will.
